Gaming Together is founded on the principle of acceptance. We meet each child where they are, and help them identify and practice steps to improve where needed—without ever shaming or blaming them. We tell them constantly, "Everyone is working on something—even the adults around you!” In addition, we emphasize that every brain has its unique pet peeves, gifts, and challenges, and we help kids learn to express what they need from a place of tolerance rather than blame (of self or other).
We are an inclusive Game Space and welcome young people of any gender, those who are LGBTQ, and those with ASD and ADHD. Therapists and aides are welcome for the kids who need them.
